Machon Marine is the consultancy of Christian Machon, Master Mariner and DNV-certified auditor, supported by a network of qualified specialists across Europe.

Founder

Christian Machon

Master Mariner · Independent auditor

Christian is a Master Mariner Unlimited and DNV-certified ISM, ISPS and MLC auditor. He has sailed as senior officer and Senior DP Operator with Maersk Supply Service and Svitzer. Ashore, he brings hands-on technical fleet management experience, and extensive business consulting experience built on a background in finance.

He has worked on both sides of the table: on the bridge and in fleet management. He knows what an auditor looks for, what a superintendent has on their plate, and what it takes to close findings on board.
