Internal ISM, ISPS & MLC audits
On board or in the office, by a DNV-certified auditor independent of your organisation. Findings referenced to the Code and your own SMS, with pre-audit gap analysis on request.
Marine audits · Technical support
When your HSEQ, marine or technical department is stretched, Machon Marine steps in with independent audits, inspections and hands-on technical support, scoped clearly and priced up front.
Experience from:
Why Machon Marine
Audits due, a vetting or PSC inspection coming, a yard period to prepare, and a superintendent on leave. The work does not wait for headcount.
An experienced Master Mariner and certified auditor who works to a clear scope, fits into your systems and templates, and can bring in qualified colleagues when one person is not enough.
Findings closed before the inspector boards, yard scope and cost under control, and work handed back to your team in your own format.
Who you work with
Founder · Master Mariner · Independent auditor
Christian is a Master Mariner Unlimited and DNV-certified ISM, ISPS and MLC auditor. He has sailed as senior officer and Senior DP Operator with Maersk Supply Service and Svitzer. Ashore, he brings hands-on technical fleet management experience, and extensive business consulting experience built on a background in finance.
With bridge, audit and fleet-management experience, he knows what an auditor looks for, what a superintendent has on their plate, and what it takes to close findings on board.
One experienced person who works to a clear scope, fits in with your own systems, and hands the work back to your team when it's done.
